Challenge of Ferroelectric Property Control in Wurtzite Materials

After the discovery of ferroelectricity of Sc-doped AlN films in 2019, wurtzite materials have been recognized as one of the most critical materials for device applications.
Ferroelectric property control of wurtzite materials is one of the critical issues for real device applications. In my presentation, I summarize the current status of ferroelectricity in various ferroelectric materials and wurtzite materials including Sc-doped (Ga,Al)N and (Mg,Si)N. Additionally, I explore the potential for property control and prospects.
